CBI War: CBI Chief And Deputy Chief Sent On Leave:- The internal war in CBI created a huge stir across the country and turned out to be the most discussed topic. CBI Director Alok Verma and Deputy Chief Rakesh Asthana exchanged words which made huge noise all over. To bring things back into control, the duo has been asked to proceed on leave till things settle down. The internal rift took lead over the bribery allegations against Rakesh Asthana. CBI Joint director Nageshwar Rao will take charge of the investigation agency as of now.

Department of Personnel and Training issued the order and Nageshwar Rao will take care of the duties and the functioning of CBI with immediate effect. Former CBI chief DR Karthikeyan revealed that the government should have taken all facts into consideration by which the disaster could have been prevented. Nageshwar Rao hails from Warangal, Telangana and is from 1986 batch of Orissa cadre. On the other side, an investigation on the allegations is currently on. The CBI has arrested Devender Kumar, the Deputy SP and investigation officer, alleging that he had fabricated the statement of Sana.
