Konda Surekha Joins Congress:- Warangal Fire brand leader Konda Surekha has been unhappy in TRS from some time. Telangana Chief Minister KCR did not grant her ticket in the announced 105 candidates in the state. Konda Surekha met the press couple of times and slammed KCR, KTR for ignoring them in the party. Konda Surekha called herself loyal to TRS and they worked with utmost dedication. Couple of days ago, Surekha clarified that she would take a call and inform about her political future in couple of days.

Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali joined Congress in the presence of AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi today. Rahul Gandhi assured a prominent place for her husband and Konda Surekha is the aspirant of Warangal East Assembly seat from Congress. Surekha was quite active during YSR's regime but she later slipped to TRS after the formation of Telangana. She now re-joined Congress and promised Rahul Gandhi that she would work hard with dedication. Konda Surekha recently revealed that she received calls from several national parties and she was one among the Chief Minister candidates of Telangana from various parties.
