Governor Inaugurates Ameerpet To LB Nagar Metro Lane:- The second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail between Ameerpet and LB Nagar has been inaugurated by Governor ESL Narasimhan today at 12.15 PM. The Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety  issued all the certificates after which the date has been locked. It is stretched across 16 kms and with the inauguration, the second phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail has been completed. The total distance of the first phase is said to be 46 kms and is the second largest one after Delhi Metro.

Telangana IT Minister KTR along with several TRS Leaders and Ministers attended the launch and travelled in the metro. The minimum fare has been kept as Rs 10 and the maximum fare is said to be Rs 60. The next phase of Hyderabad Metro between Jubilee Bus Station and MGBS will start its operation from the mid of 2019. The construction works are currently underway.
