Karunanidhi Last Rites Held In Marina Beach:- DMK Chief M Karunanidhi breathed his last yesterday and the last rites of the 94-year-old politician have been held today at Anna Square, Marina Beach. His last rites have been held in the presence of lakhs of party supporters, followers, politicians, businessmen and family members. The golden casket in which the mortal remains of Karunanidhi that have been laid to rest had the engraving in Tamil saying “Oivu edukamal uzhaithavan, idho oivu eduthu kondu irukiran," which means "one who worked without taking rest, is resting in peace here".

MK Stalin and other family members overlooked the arrangements and the entire family of M Karunanidhi have been spotted bonding together despite of not being in good terms. Thw whole country mourned the demise of the veteran politician. His fans and followers shouted slogans that Kalaignar will be remembered and will stay in the hearts of the audience.
