Kamal Admits That He Was Offered Crores Of Black Money:- Padmashri Kamal Haasan has been making his waves in politics. Keeping his films aside, the actor has been active in Tamil Nadu political circles from the past one year. He floated his own party Makkal Needhi Maiam and announced that he would make an impact in South politics. Kamal revealed that he was offered Rs 100 crores black money to enter politics from different parties. Kamal admitted that his intention was to serve the poor and the needy through politics and not to earn money.

"What will I do with black money? I believe in myself. Yes, I am here to serve the poor and not for making money. I earned enough through films and I am not interested in money anymore. Things changed across the country and the face of corruption has taken the major lead. I learn't a lot after making my debut into politics. Will continue to be available for people" said Kamal recently. His next film Vishwaroopam 2 is hitting the screens on August 10th in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Kamal directed and produced this action thriller.
