Former Cricketer Venugopal Rao Joins Janasena:- Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has been touring across Uttarandhra and he has been meeting various intellectuals from the region. Former cricketer Y Venugopal Rao last evening joined Janasena in the presence of Pawan Kalyan. Before this, Venugopal Rao took the membership in Visakhapatnam. Venugopal Rao made his debut against Sri Lanka in 2005. He played 16 ODIs and scored 218 runs and he played his last match in 2006 against West Indies.

Venugopal Rao also played for Deccan Chargers and Hyderabad Sunrisers in Indian Premier League (IPL). After retiring from cricket, he wanted to serve politics and felt that Pawan Kalyan would be a perfect choice to work with. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan revealed that he is here to fight for the problems of the people. Pawan even revealed that he is here to fight for Special Status for Andhra Pradesh.
