TDP MPs To Stage Protest In New Delhi On June 28th:- The leading TDP deferred with BJP after the state has been ignored special status for the state. The MPs staged huge protests in the Parliament and now once again they are set to protest in the national capital demanding a steel plant in Kadapa district. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu held a meeting with TDP lawmakers yesterday through a teleconference. Srinivas Rao, OSD to CM stated that the stage has been set on June 28th.

TDP MP CM Ramesh has been on hunger strike in Kadapa since Sunday and TDP decided to protest supporting his fast across the state in the coming three days. After this a maha dharna has been planned in New Delhi on June 28th. On June 13th, the Centre clarified that it is not financially viable to construct a steel plant in Kadapa. This steel plant emerged as one more point of confrontation between TDP and BJP after the special category status.
