Kanna Lakshminarayana Turns New BJP Chief Of Andhra Pradesh:- Senior politician of Andhra Pradesh Kanna Lakshminarayana who served Congress for over four decades has been idle across AP politics from some time. With Congress making no impact, Kanna Lakshminarayana shifted his base to BJP. The national party appointed Kanna Lakshminarayana as the new Chief for Andhra Pradesh. Earlier K  Hari Babu has been asked to resign from his services after which Kanna took charge.

Kanna Lakshminarayana announced that he would leave BJP and YSRCP after which the big announcement came. The five-time MLA from Guntur district, Kanna Lakshminarayana hails from Kapu community and is said to play a crucial role for BJP in the next upcoming elections. Though there have been speculations that Somu Veeraraju will be appointed as the new Chief, he has been apppointed as th state convenor for election management committee. Kanna Lakshminarayana will have a key role as BJP has been facing tough time after the national party rejected Special status for Andhra Pradesh.
