Theatres Across South India To Be Shut From Tomorrow:- With the huge hike in digital charges, all the theatres across South Indian states will be shut down from tomorrow. With the discussions failing after several attempts, the distributors and exhibitors decided to shut down theatres till further notice. AP Film Chamber and Telangana Film Chamber asked all the exhibitors to follow the strike till they get an update on the prices in the digital charges. While the digital providers like UFO and Cube coming down to 8% discount, the exhibitors wants a reduction of 25%. 

With no big releases from tomorrow, the theatre owners too decided to keep the screens shut down until further notice. With both the sides quite strict on their words, we have to wait and how the issue gets resolved. With several biggies gearing up for summer release, we have to wait to see who steps down for a solution.
