Nirav Modi Traced In New York: Leading A Lavish Life:- Billionaire Diamond jeweller Nirav Modi along with his family flew from the country after a Rs 11300 crore fraud. The ministry of external affairs suspended the passports of Nirav and his uncle Mehul Choksi for four weeks. There are expecting to hear from the jeweller in next seven days else their passports will be revoked. A multi-agency probe has been announced by the government and IT department attached 29 properties along with 105 bank accounts linked to Modi and his family.

On the other side, Nirav Modi has been traced in New York and his family is staying at the 36th floor suite in JW Marriitt's Essex House in Manhattan. The tarrif is said to be Rs 75000 per day and Modi booked the suite for 90 days and he will be spending Rs 67.5 lakhs for the stay alone. After his passport has been suspended, Modi will be left grounded in USA. The government is keen on his extradiction soon. The Enforcement directorate is said to have searched 35 premises of Modi and recovered assets worth Rs 500 crores. His properties across Delhi, Pune, Surat and Jaipur have been seized. Notices have been pasted across the stores of Nirav Modi.
