A software engineer who has been residing in USA came donw to the country to find a suitable bride and he passed away during the wee hours of Saturday. The incident took place in Coimbatore after his motorcycle rammed into a wodden structure. The structure has been erected to welcome the Chief Minister and other AIADMK leaders who will be in the city to participate in MGR centenary function on December 3rd.

K Ragupathi, 32-year old from RG Pudur Pirivu near Chimniyampalayam has been working as a software engineer with a US firm. He was in plans to return back soon and he planned to go to Murugan temple at Palani. He didnot notice the wooden structure and his motorcycle rammed into it. He died on the spot after he suffered a serious head injury. Coimbatore City Corporation immediately removed the wooden structure after the incident took place. A case has been registered and Ragu's body has been handed over to his parents after postmortem.
