YS Jagan’s Self Goal And His Two Promises:- The TDP government has been accused by Jagan Mohan Reddy for doing 'high-level' corruption. Surprisingly, YS Jagan’s name has been linked to off-shore tax haven by ‘Paradise Papers’ today.

YS Jagan, spoke at length where he alleged that Janmabhoomi committees in villages turned into gang of thieves. He started his Praja Sankalpa Yatra today at Idupulapaya. The YSRCP alleged that around Rs 200 crore had been spent by the TDP in by-elections and ultimately won. Moreover, Jagan challenged Chandrababu to contest in 20-other constituencies and win against his party.

Jagan even stated that he would like to ban liquor and said that he has gumption to ban liquor. The comments of Jagan on both corruption and liquor ban are evoking laughs from the political analysts, as he himself is deeply engrossed with the allegations of corruption, money laundering, linked to off-shore tax havens and battling with several cases by CBI, Enforcement Directorate. Jagan’s promises on corruption are certainly not winning the trust of people.

On other-hand, as the new state of AP is in acute financial crisis, the liquor ban is a wrong promise at this junctures. Ban on liquor would further push the state into debts and hence, no government would dare to take such step in AP. Meanwhile, in a complete contrary, Jagan has expressed his wish to ban to liquor. It seems like Jagan courted a self-goal given that this would not even be accepted by people who consume alcohol.
