Filmmaker RGV To Be Arrested For Vangaveeti Movie Case?:- The police have been directed the Vijayawada court to arrest controversial director Ram Gopal Varma and producer Dasari Kiran Kumar. The arrest relates to the Vangaveeti movie case.
Vangaveeti Radha Krishna raised objections regarding the biopic of his father Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. Mohana Ranga was killed in gang wars of Vijayawada during 1988. Even though Varma met Radha Krishna and his mother ahead of the release but the discussions did not go off well.
The maverick director ignored their objections and allegedly distorted the facts in the film ultimately insulting Vangaveeti family. Finally, Radha Krishna knocked the doors of the court. The family alleged that the movie is filled with half-truths and does not depict the actual character of Mohana Ranga.
The police have been ordered by the court to register an FIR and arrest director Varma and producer Kiran Kumar.
