KCR Unveils His Plans For Dusshera This Year:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be ignoring the criticism of opposition and has unveiled his plans for Dussera this year, to make holy trip to fulfill his vow of presenting gold ornaments to deity in Vijayawada this year.
KCR and his family members are keen to celebrate Dussera festival at Kanakadurga temple, atop Indrakiladri in Vijayawada. He is scheduled to visit Vijayawada between September 28 to 30, during Vijaya Dasami celebrations in Kanakadurga temple. A gold nose stud will be presented by him to Goddess Durga as part of fulfilling his vows for realizing the long cherished dream of Telangana state. Around Rs 75 lakh have already been released to design the nose stud.
KCR accompanied by his family members will perform special pujas to Durga goddess. To be recalled, the chief minister already fulfilled the other vows including presentation of gold mustache to Lord Veerabhadra Swamy in Kuravi in Mahabubabad district in February. He also gifted necklace and haram to Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirupati.
The Chief Minister presented a 11.7 kg gold crown worth over Rs three crores to Goddess Bhadrakali in Warangal on the occasion of Navrathri-Dasara celebrations in October last year.

Earlier on December 3, 2015, he performed “Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagnam” in sprawling grounds of his farm house on the outskirts of the city. What had shocked many was that he had spent crores of rupees for the yagnam at a time when the State was reeling through severe drought conditions.
All the Opposition parties have lashed out at the Chief Minister for these extravagant offerings by denting the exchequer for fulfilling his personal vows.
