Venkaiah Naidu Gives New Definition Of India:- Newly elected Vice-President of India, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu now has a new acronym for India.
Naidu staying true to his love for acronyms, said that “India stands for ‘Integrated National Development Impacting All Indians’ equally well. This is the mission for India,” he said after being felicitated in Bengaluru for winning the vice-presidential poll.

By a wide margin, Naidu had defeated the opposition’s nominee Gopalkrishna Gandhi in the Vice President election that was held on August 5. Gopalkrishna is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
Naidu said he has the highest respect for Karnataka, as it had given him the opportunity to serve the country as a Rajya Sabha member for three terms. He also spoke about Indian democracy’s power of making a person from a farmer’s family as vice president. He further stated that he would be very keen to make the Rajya Sabha proceedings meaningful in his capacity as its chairman.
Later, he left for Tirumala by a flight.
