GHMC To Not Accept Property Tax From July 5 To 12?:- The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will not be accepting property tax from July 5 to 12, as it is updating database and reorganizing the same pertaining to 30 municipal circles.

The data ramification work requires the property tax module to be suspended for five working days and the officials have decided to suspend the property tax collection from July 5 to 12. The property tax will not be accepted in the Citizen Service Centres, hand-held machines, Mee-Seva and online, during this period.

Moreover, orders have been issued by the government, enhancing the municipal circles to 30 in the GHMC limits. To this effect, the database pertaining to the property tax needs to be revised and updated as per each circle, said the officials.

Meanwhile, in the bumper draw conducted by the municipal corporation here on Tuesday, the property tax payer bearing PTIN no1E09 from Rajendranagar circle bagged the cash prize of Rs 50,000.

As part of the lottery draw conducted by Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, in all, 119 property tax payers bagged cash prizes for paying taxes from June 19 to 30.
