No Need To Give Proofs Of Surgical Strike Says Manohar Parrikar

Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar, on Thursday slamming the opposition for demanding proofs of surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army said that the Army carried out 100% perfect strikes and there is no need to give proofs.

Parrikar, while addressing BJP workers at GIC ground in Agra, said, “We carried out a 100 percent perfect surgical strike. Our nation carries the heart and courage to carry this task out. There are many people who are not loyal to our country and criticized the Indian Army, but we don't have to give them any proof.”

He further added, “Some ex-servicemen wrote to me and said that they are ready to fight on the border if need arises. I salute them.”

“In matters of the country's defense, I can think tedha (wily),” said Parrikar.

Parrikar was felicitated by the party’s Lucknow and Agra Mahanagar units earlier. His tour of UP comes amid the opposition demanding the proofs of the surgical strikes as Pakistan is denying the operation carried out by the Indian forces across the LoC.

On the night of September 29, the Special Forces of the Para regiment of the Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on the terror launch pads in PoK across the LoC, which has been continuously denied by Pakistan.
