After finding a couple sitting in an auto, the police thrashed the male youth in public and even abused his female friend.

The incident took place in Ulhasnagar area, Thane, Maharashtra. There was no idea of the people, who took the video, or the timing of it. But the video went viral in the social networking sites.

When the concerned police officials are contacted, they said that, they had no knowledge of any such video shooters, in the surroundings.  

In August, the police had rounded up 13 couples and 35 others following raids at hotels and a beach here, allegedly for indecent behaviour in public. A few support the police, but a few others criticize them, saying that, they are disturbing the privacy of the public.
