Sekhar, a camera mechanic by profession based in Chennai has many interesting things to do in his life. He wakes up at 4:30 AM to feed over 2000 parrots that arrive to his doorsteps regularly. He has been doing this from the past 10 years which is not a surprise for his neighbors, but we will be sure left in shock that makes his day complete. The most interesting thing is that Sekhar spends 40% of his income in feeding the parrots and he says that he does this for a cause. At times, he might have missed his meal but he never failed to feed the thousands of parrots says his close aids and neighbors.

It all started 10 years ago when Sekhar notices the birds coming to the boundary of his house and one fine day he left some rice and grains on the boundary which welcomed many birds, squirrels and other creatures. He started feeding them from that time which became a daily routine now. He feeds 2000 parrots regularly and at times the number even reaches 4000 which is not surprising. He wakes up at 4: 30 in the morning to prepare the meal and the parrots arrive at sharp 6:00 AM.
