Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan will be promoting West Bengal tourism and soon he will feature in a campaign, added a top official of the tourism department. Shah Rukh is already the brand ambassador of the state  and also owns the IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. He has very cordial relation with West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

“We are working on new advertisements to promote tourism in the state and attract both domestic as well as foreign tourists here and may feature Shah Rukh Khan in this,” said the tourism principal secretary. The new commercial will be ready in next three months and would cost around Rs 10 crores without any endorsement from any brand ambassadors.

West Bengal is aiming to increase its tourism revenues by at least 10 percent every year and according it has sketched out few strategies and allocated a budget of Rs 1950 crores in the coming three years.
