Bharatiya Janata Party is in thoughts to rope former top cop official Kiran Bedi for the Delhi Assembly elections which are rumored to held after the Lok Sabha elections. Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan who is contesting for the Lok Sabha from Chandini Chowk is expected to resign to the MLA post and BJP is deliberating of giving Kiran Bedi the chance.
It is also in the air that BJP might allot the Chief Ministerial post to Kiran Bedi if she accepts the offer. However, Kiran Bedi is disinterested in politics but is heard to be in dilemma. BJP has earlier contacted Bedi to contest in Delhi Assembly polls and was also offered New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Nonetheless, she declined all the proposals and stayed away.
If at all Kiran accepts the BJP's proposal then it would be an interesting battle between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party.
