Galla Jayadev son of Minister Aruna Kumari and Managing Director of Amara Raja Batteries is keen to contest for the parliamentary elections in 2014 from Guntur Constituency representing Telugu Desam Party. But he said that he will make his official announcement after discussing the matter with TDP.
Galla Jayadev said that the Telugu Cinema Superstar Mahesh Babu will campaign for him in his individual status as the star is not to work in politics. He clarified that Mahesh Babu doesn’t support any political party but he will do election campaign for him individually.
The State Minister for Mines State Galla Aruna Kumari has denied her meeting TDP leaders. She did not reply for the question whether she would contest from Congress party or TDP in the coming elections.
But Jayadev took the issue light that his mother is the Minister in Congress party and he is going to contest from the opposition party TDP. He says that it is not uncommon that the members of the same family may support different parties.
