The film, set in1945, narrates the story of an uprising against the Hyderabad state. The story is narrated from an 11 year old girl's point of view. Nagarjuna and Sneha play the lead roles in the film. Vijayendra Prasad is directing the film and the film is being produced on Annapurna Studios banner. Nagarjuna is playing the title role Rajanna. S S Rajamouli, son of Vijayendra Prasad, canned few action episodes in the film. The film will hit the screens later this year.
