The Central Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (CPDCL) has officially announced the power cut schedules from today in the Hyderabad city. CPDCL has divided the city into four groups and the power cut will implemented simultaneously in all the four regions. However all the power cuts are schedule before 2 PM itself and the power will be cut in two spells of one hour each.

With Rabi season going on there is a gap of 20 to 30 millions units of power shortage and this has forced the CPDCL to go for power cuts. But there are huge power cuts in districts, Municipalities and mandal headquarters. A power cut of four, six and eight hours has  scheduled in the above mention regions respectively.
