The extended meeting of the leaders of the Telangana JACs was held today in Hyderabad to discuss the future course of action to take the T stir forward.

The meeting was attended by the TRS president Mr KCR, Political JAC convener Prof Kodanda Ram, Swami Goud and other leaders of the Telangana Employees’ JAC and district JACs. The meeting discussed the ways and means of continuing the Telangana agitation without causing trouble to students and the general public.

The representatives of the New Democracy Party also participated in the meeting and urged the leaders to take a quick decision on reviving the agitation.

For the first time, the BJP leaders have also attended the extended meeting and given their suggestions on carrying out the T agitation. The meeting demanded the Government to implement the promises made to the employees for withdrawing their strike last September and cancel all the cases filed against the employees and students during the T agitation.

The extended meeting however failed to announce the schedule of T stir and decided to meet again to discuss further. (JUBS)
