It was looking like straight at a chasing and killing scene in Tollywood hero prince Mahesh babu’s flick. What else would you think of the incident in which a rowdy was chased by a group of people and killed in the presence of several people in an apartment in broad day light in Hyderabad on Monday November 8?
Mr Fazal, on whom police had opened rowdy sheet long ago, went to one of the Nampally criminal courts and came out after deposing as a witness in a case. Soon after he came out, he was suddenly attacked by a group of unidentified people forcing him to flee.
Fleeing and fearing for his life, he found his way unknowingly into an apartment complex in the Red Hills area but the group of chasers followed him, found him ultimately and stabbed him to death with knives in the presence of several others sending shivers down the spines of the locals. Fazal is a well known rowdy in the Panjagutta area of the city.
Police suspect another rowdy Ayub Khan might be behind the killing of Fazal as the former had developed enmity with the latter on the issue of land settlements in the city. Police said that these two are co son-in-laws. The hand of the other rowdy sheeters is however not ruled out, according to police.
