Most of the ministers had turned down the proposal of chief minister Kirankumar reddy that they should take up the ‘Prajapadham’ programme beginning this week. The ministers reportedly pointed out that they can’t take up the programme when the promises made by the government during the Rachchabanda programme in January are not yet fulfilled.
The government has not yet implemented the Rachchabanda promises made to people because of lack of sufficient funds. This forced the chief minister to put on hold the ‘Prajapadham’ till the government coffers are filled up.
Kirankumar reddy has also directed the finance department to submit a detailed report to him on the funds needed to implement the promises made during the Rachchabanda programme.
