Chandrababu Naidu's Quash Petition Adjourned:- N Chandrababu Naidu's counsel has filed a quash petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the High Court has adjourned the hearing to 19 September.
Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in Nandyal in the Skill Development scam case, he was alleged of transferring Rs 371 Cr to shell companies. Delhi-based lawyer Siddharth Luthra is leading the CBN’s counsel.
The former CM moved the high court on Tuesday for Quash. The High Court adjourned the quash petition till the 19th of September and also asked the ACB court not to take up any sort of hearing on the custody petition of CBN till the 18th of September. CID has already filed a petition with the ACB court for the custody of CBN, where it is now adjourned to the 18th. With the reaction of the High Court, CBN’s 20 counsel members led by Siddharth Luthra were left in shock.

On the flip side, the Telugu Desam Party is organizing various programmes as a protest against CBN’s arrest. They called for a program named ‘I am with CBN’ at Wipro Circle, Hyderabad on Wednesday. This is the first gathering in Hyderabad, Telangana in support of Chandrababu Naidu. In Andhra Pradesh, TDP cadres are protesting and pelting stones on APSRTC buses. Dharmavaram TDP in charge Paritala Sriram has come out from the house and joined in the protests.
