Telangana Formation Day to be Celebrated for 21 Days:- Telangana celebrates its formation day today (June 2nd) since 2014. Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the people of Telangana on their Formation Day. Modi wrote, “On the Formation Day of Telangana, my greetings to the people of this wonderful state. The skills of its people and the richness of its culture are greatly admired. I pray for the well-being and prosperity of Telangana.” President Draupadi Murmu called the state the hub of innovation and entrepreneurship. She also extended her wishes on social media.

The formation protest began in 1952 and the state was formed in 2014 after a prolonged struggle of Telangana leaders. Telangana was formed as the 29th state in India and hit a jet in the development side under KCR leadership. The formation day was celebrated as a festival in the state with several cultural events and speeches. States declared the day a holiday.
BRS government going to celebrate the Telangana Formation Day fondly called Telangana Day for 21 days and going to project their development on each division. On June 2nd its Inaugural Day, June 3rd will be celebrated as Farmers Day, June 4th will be Suraksha Day , June 5th will be Vidyuttu Vijayotsavam, June 6th Industrial growth Festival, on June 7th it will be Water Day. June 8th will be Oorura Cheruvula Panduga, June 9th will be Sankeshema Sambaralu, June 10th will be celebrated as Good Governance Day, June 11th will be Literature Day, June 12th Telangana Run, June 13th Women’s Welfare Day, June 14th Medical Day, June 15th Palle Pragathi Day, June 16th Pattana Pragathi Day, June 17th Tribal Festival, June 18th Drinking Water Festival, June 19th Haritha Utsavam, June 20th Education Day, June 21st Spiritual Day and June 22nd will be celebrated as Martyrs Commemoration Day.
