My State is Burning With Violence: Mary Kom Asks for Help:- The Olympic gold medal holder and Rajya Sabha MP Mary Kom appealed on Twitter that her state is burning and sought help from prime minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and PMO and she also tagged national media channels.

While talking to national media, Mary Kom claims that no one is safe in the state and sever districts were affected after the violence. She also said that she is very frightened and never imagine that situation in Manipur. Mary Kom requested the state and central government to take action on the violence. She urged the communities of the state to stay in peace.

The Tribal Solidarity March called by the All Tribal Student Union Manipur (ATSUM) in demand of the Meitei community to be added under the Scheduled Tribe status category has created tension in the state. Army conducted exercises in Manipur and in many areas to get control of law and order. Local police were asked to be on their toes yesterday night. Security forces are rushing to the state and shoot excite orders have been issued by the state government also. Internet services were also cut on the state. State government and central government is having discussions with neighbouring state government over law and order issue. Central government requested media not to carry any rumors.
