TDP Soon To Join Back NDA Alliance:- Telugu Desam Party (TDP) lost fame and charm after the 2019 polls. The party was defeated like never before and most of the prominent actors are not active. Chandrababu Naidu is trying hard to get the party to the track. TDP worked with NDA alliance in the 2014 polls but in 2019, the party stood away from the alliance. After the grand victory of NDA and Narendra Modi, TDP had no options left and was calm. There are strong talks that TDP will soon join back the alliance of NDA. Chandrababu Naidu was invited for a recent meeting chaired by Narendra Modi recently and Chandrababu attended the meeting. There are rumors that the discussions were initiated about TDP joining back the alliance of NDA.
There are also talks that Nara Lokesh met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed about joining the alliance. There are reports saying that TDP would join NDA before Dasara. BJP is said to have conducted various surveys in the South Indian states. Though the alliance would not benefit NDA much, th number of Parliament votes will increase rapidly in AP for BJP. Several regional parties like Shivsena, JDU and Akali Dal deferred with NDA alliance in the recent times. Hence, TDP would turn out to be a strong support if joined in the alliance. The core leaders of BJP felt that TDP would be a support for NDA alliance and there would be mutual benefits for both the parties.
TDP too conducted a ground survey and Chandrababu spoke to the crucial leaders before taking a call. BJP has been keen to get the hold in the South Indian states. Hence, an alliance with TDP will turn out to be a benefit for BJP.
