KCR Calls For An Immediate Cabinet Meeting:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) revolted against the Centre and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Centre decided not offer the MSP for the crops in the state and stand for the farmers. The Centre is not much bothered to support Telangana for the past few months. KCR also skipped Narendra Modi's meeting on Sunday. KCR called up for an emergency meeting with the state cabinet on Thursday to discuss about the financial situation in the state. The Centre has imposed several restrictions for Telangana regarding the borrowings. KCR get a clear picture about the borrowings and how to stay away from the financial stress.
The cabinet will also discuss about the Aasara pension cap from 65 to 57 years. The state government is also in plans to sanction the new ration cards and implement the Dalit Bandhu in all the districts of the state. The government of Telangana claims that the Centre imposed a cut of Rs 19,000 cuts on the market borrowings for the state which turned out to be a hurdle. The Telangana government announced Rs 15,500 crores through the sale of land parcels and Rajiv Swagruha flats in the budget of 2022-23. The actions are completed in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Mahbubnagar in June and July. But the state government is yet to receive the full payment from the buyers. The government of Telangana also earned Rs 137 crores through the land auctions in the limits of HMDA.
The government has been feeling the stress as the government needs to mobilize the funds for Dalit Bandhu. KCR will discuss about all these issues in the upcoming cabinet meeting tomorrow.
