KCR Pens A Letter To Modi: Takes A Dig:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and his party has been at loggerheads with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP. KCR has been invited for the NITI Aayog meeting that is chaired by Narendra Modi tomorrow in New Delhi. KCR announced that he would not attend the meeting and he penned a strong letter to Narendra Modi today. KCR in his letter explained about the injustice done for the Telangana state by the Centre. He said that there is no proper drinking water supply in New Delhi and the capital is running short of electricity and the unemployment is increasing on a fast note. "Rupee is tumbling down like never before. GST is turning out to be a huge issue for the country. The states are not given a chance to express their views before the Centre" slammed KCR.
CM Sri KCR has conveyed Prime Minister @NarendraModi Ji of his decision to stay away from the 7th Governing Council meeting of @NITIAayog as a mark of strong protest against present trend of Union Govt. to discriminate against the States and not treating them as equal partners. pic.twitter.com/V9cCC2Nu2L

"Telangana did not get a penny for Mission Bhagiratha from NITI Aayog. The specific issues in the state are known for the state government and not for the Centre. Narendra Modi avoided paying Rs 14 lakh crores in the form of cess. When there was a planning commission, we had the flexibility to discuss about what we want. The Centre is now making own decisions and this turned out to be a huge headache for the states. I wanted my statement to be recorded in NITI Aayog but till now nothing got materialized. We have earned and spent Rs 1.90 lakh crore from Telangana but the Centre granted us just Rs 5000 crores. The Finance Commission recommended Rs 6000 crores but the Centre is yet to release a penny. I am boycotting the NITI Aayog meeting for all these reasons" told KCR.
