Nation Hails The Victory Of Droupadi Murmu:- BJP and NDA supported Droupadi Murmu is the first tribal woman of the country to end up as the President. She is the 15th President of India and the nation showered her with compliments after the stupendous victory. The 64-year-old woman is the first Adivasi and second woman to become the President of India. She is expected to take the oath on the occasion of the Independence Day this year. Droupadi Murmu is born in 1958 and she hails from Uparbeda in Odisha. Before joining politics, Droupadi Murmu worked as a teacher in Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Centre in Rairangpur. She joined in politics in 1997 after she won the Panchayat elections.
Droupadi Murmu won as MLA in 2000 and 2004 for Odisha and she worked as a Minister under the governance of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Droupadi Murmu worked as the Vice President for BJP's Scheduled Tribes Morcha. She lost several times in the polls between 2009 and 2014. Droupadi Murmu worked as the Governor of Jharkhand in 2015. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited her in her residence yesterday and congratulated for her Presidential role. Droupadi Murmu will take the oath on Monday in the Central Hall of the Parliament. Several politicians, businessmen, entrepreneurs and celebrities appreciated Droupadi Murmu on her new role.
