Telangana Formation Day: KCR releases 172 pages Progress Report:- Telangana is celebrating its Eighth Formation Day today in a grand manner. The people of the state along with the politicians and others participated in the celebrations. Telangana Chief Minister KCR greeted the people of the state. During his speech, KCR released a 172-page progress report which highlighted the development works in the state all these eight years. The schemes announced by the government of Telangana are mentioned in the scheme. Shaadi Mubarak, KCR kits, Kalyana Laxmi, Rythu Bima, Rythu Bandhu, Aasara pensions are announced by the government of Telangana and they benefited large amount of people.
More than 63 lakh farmers received Rythu Bandhu two times a year. A total number of 60.83 lakh farmers have received the amount for the Kharif season. Rythu Bandhu scheme benefited 80,861 families and the state government paid a premium of Rs 14000 crores to LIC. KCR also said that the government distributed 81.60 lakh sheep for the beneficiaries of 3.88 lakh for free. KCR Kit programme is aimed at the institutional deliveries. Rs 1,00,116 was paid by the government of Telangana for 11,45,920 beneficiaries under the program of Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubaarak schemes.
As a part of the Arogyasri program, 13.31 lakh beneficiaries have been b benefited and the government spent Rs 5817 crores for the treatment of the people since 2014. KCR also released the report of the annual performance of IT department. He said that the total employment in IT sector is 7,78,121 and Telangana added 4,54,725 new IT jobs in the last eight years.
