Telangana Celebrates Its Eighth Formation Day:- Telangana is the youngest state of the country and today marks the eighth year of its formation. Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and its Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao completed eight years in the office of the Chief Minister. The movement of the formation of Telangana started five decades ago. It was Congress that granted the special state but the party suffered badly in both the Telugu states. The Telangana movement took pace in 2009 after KCR announced an indefinite fast. KCR announced that more than 1200 people died in the last phase of the movement. KCR walked with the credits and took oath as the first Chief Minister of the state.

TRS emerged as the winner even in the early 2018 polls with huge majority. Investments poured into the state. As per the official reports, the state attracted investments worth Rs 2.34 trillion in the last eight years. KCR and KTR claim that Centre made big money through the taxes collected from Telangana. KCR has been highly successful in demolishing the opposition parties by attracting the leaders. BJP has been gaining strength and the Centre too is focused on the state and is working with the deadline of 2024 polls. The entire state and the leaders are celebrating the Eighth Formation Day of Telangana in a grand manner. Chief Minister KCR greeted the people on the occasion. The Centre organized celebrations on the occasion for the first time. There are several traffic restrictions imposed in Hyderabad on the occasion of the Telangana Formation Day.
