Telangana Stamps and Registration Department earns Rs 1003 Cr in April:- The Stamps and Registration Department of Telangana earned Rs 1003 crores in the month of April and this is the first month of the financial year 2022-23. The collections were hampered by a number of bank holidays in the month. Most of the buyers have invested in the urban and rural localities for investment in the state. After the completion of the pandemic, the IT and corporate sector employees returned back to work to office after two long years of working from home. The investments on the residential properties have increased in and around Hyderabad have been increased big time. On the other side, most of the banks have reduced the interests on home loans during the financial year.

The regions like Shankarpally, Gandipet, Serilingampally, Ameenpur, Balanagar, Quthbullapur, Medchal and other sub-registration offices witnessed thousands of registrations of the properties in April. The government of Telangana also revoked the GO 111 and more construction activities are expected to start in the 83 villages which were restricted. There are 1,06,014 documents registered and the revenue department has earned Rs 1003 crores. There are 5187 slots booked in total and the number of sale deeds are said to be 33,620 and the gift deeds done in the month of April are 5388. There are a total number of 3,24,915 auto mutations done in April.
