TRS MPs move Privilege Motion against Narendra Modi:- The Rajya Sabha MPs of the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) moved a privilege motion against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi under Rule 187 today after his statement in the house on Tuesday. Modi's statements on the AP Reorganization Bill did not go well with the people and politicians of Telangana. TRS MPs said that the statement showed Parliament houses in bad manner, demeaning the proceedings of the house and its functioning. Modi's statements also finds faults in the Members of Parliament and the Presiding Officers in the House.

Narendra Modi during his speech made open statements that the procedures were adopted by the Presiding Officers and House Management during the AP Reorganization Bill on February 20th, 2014 in Lok Sabha and February 21st, 2014 in Rajya Sabha. TRS Parliamentary Party leader K Keshava Rao and the other MPs submitted their notice today. The statement said that the Prime Minister tried to find fault with conduct of the Presiding Officer. The TRS MPs of Rajya Sabha decided to stay away from the House until the Chairman accepts the Privilege Motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. K Keshava Rao said that the Chairman is not present and the Deputy Chairman said that he will pass it on to the Chairman for his decision.
