Nepal accuses China of encroaching into the border:- A report from the government of Nepal accused that China has encroached into the western Nepal across the shared border. The report was submitted in September last year after China trespassed into the district of Humla. A committee was formed by Home Ministry Joint Secretary to study about the dispute over the border. The team kept a watch on the border pillars in the Limi valley and the initial investigation revealed that there some border issues between China and Nepal. Nepal's Hindu Civic Society, Rastriya Ekata Abhiyan handed over the memorandum to the United Nations and the report said that China encroached on their land in Humla district.

They urged the international community to pay attention for the land grabbing of China. Binay Yadav, the Chairperson of Ekta Abhiyan handed over the memorandum to the UN Resident Coordinator Richard Howard in Kathmandu. They urged the Nepali government to take action against the country soon. The study says that the area between pillar 5 (2) and middle of Kit Khola is marked as the border but China erected fences and wires in the land of Nepal.The report is now pending with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kathmandu is silent over the encroachment of China. Rastriya Ekata Abhiyan burnt pictures of the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi last month.
