India Kept On High Alert Over Omicron Variant Row:- The new variant of Omicron is leaving the world sleepless. There are several speculations that the variant is extremely dangerous and highly transmissible. All the countries are alerted by the World Health Organization (WHO). The Indian government kept a special track of the international travelers arriving from South Africa, Botswana and Hong Kong. The Union Health Ministry revised the guidelines for the international travelers and they will be implemented from December 1st. All the international travelers will have to submit their 14-days travel details along with a negative RT-PCR test report. The details have to be submitted on Air Suvidha portal before their journey. Several Indian states imposed curbs on the international travelers.

Several review meetings are conducted about the resumption of all the international flights to India. AIIMS Chief Dr Randeep Guleria said that the variant of Omicron has 30 mutations in the spike protein. When it comes to Hyderabad, all the international travelers have to produce a negative RT-PCR report after they land in the capital of Telangana. All the international travelers will have to undergo quarantine for two weeks and they have to monitor their health as per the Indian government. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the people to be quite cautious as the fear of coronavirus is yet to vanish. He wanted the citizens to be responsible and take all the needed precautions. The government of Telangana asked the people to take all the needed precautions and stay away from crowds.
