KCR all set to release Rabi Action Plan:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced war on the Centre for ignoring the purchase of rice in the upcoming rabi season. He has been to Delhi and met various leaders though he could not get the appointment of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. KCR returned back to Hyderabad after completing his four-day visit and he is all set to release the 'Rabi Action Plan' and he would suggest alternate crops for the farmers in the place of paddy. KCR is in plans to hold a meeting with the Agriculture Minister along with the officials to chalk out plans. At the same time, the government of Telangana is keen to mount pressure on the Centre.

KCR will also make an announcement about crediting Rythu Bandhu amount in the bank accounts of the farmers and he will appeal the farmers not to use Rythu Bandhu amount to sow the paddy. The leaders of the state protested to mount pressure on the Centre to purchase the parboiled rice from Telangana in the rabi season. He wanted to take up the issue to the Prime Minister but he could not meet him due to the packed schedule of Prime Minister. The Centre revealed that it would not purchase the parboiled rice from Telangana. KCR then felt that he needs to alert the farmers. The Agriculture Department will receive strict instructions to convince the farmers not to sow paddy. All the farmers who have tie-ups with rice millers or the seed companies will opt out for paddy.
