Chandrababu in Tears in Pressmeet: Vows to Skip Assembly:- TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu was absent for the Assembly sessions yesterday and AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy slammed the opposition leader for his absence. He said that the leader of opposition should understand the importance of transparency and welfare. Chandrababu was present at the Assembly today and the leaders of the ruling party made verbal attacks on Bhuvaneswari, the wife of Chandrababu in the Assembly. He walked out with anger and arranged a press conference. During his pressmeet, Chandrababu left his cool and landed into tears. He said that he was bearing all these insults from the past two and a half years but he remained calm. He challenged that he would never step into Assembly anymore.
"I always lived up with honor and I have been bearing their acts from the past two and a half years. Today they targeted my wife. I cannot take it more. I am not even given an opportunity to defend them. My mic was cut when I was speaking" told Chandrababu. There were sharp exchange of words in the Assembly between the leading YSRCP and TDP. Chandrababu said that he would return back to the Assembly only after returning back to power. YSRCP leaders called the actions of Chandrababu cheap politics. TDP leaders staged an attack on the government of Andhra Pradesh for their verbal abuse on their leader. TDP suffered a major setback after the party lost in Kuppam which happened to be the fort of Chandrababu for more than two decades.
