KCR Calls For A Maha Dharna On November 18th:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is focused on the paddy procurement price from the Centre. After the Centre ignored the request of procuring the paddy for the rabi season, KCR announced war and his party leaders protested against the Centre and BJP. The Telangana BJP leaders blamed TRS for the move. KCR briefed the media and he revealed that the party will stage a Maha Dharna on November 18th between 11 AM and 2 PM. All the leaders of TRS will participate in the dharna. TRS MLAs, MPs and other leaders will meet the Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan to submit a representation over the paddy procurement issue.

KCR said that he called the Union Minister but received no response. "The Centre adopted a dual approach in the purchase of paddy from Telangana. The Centre is dealing with the system of justice in a different manner with each state. I will write a letter to Narendra Modi and the Union Agriculture Minister over the procurement of paddy. Our hunt will not stop and the struggle will continue till the end and till we get justice" told KCR. He said that the BJP leaders have been involved in the stone-pelting in Suryapet. BJP leaders alleged that it was the leaders of TRS who trashed them with sticks.
