India Celebrates 1 Billion Coronavirus Vaccine Doses:- The vaccination drive of coronavirus is happening at a faster pace and India is recovering well. The active cases slipped down below the mark of 1.5 lakhs and the daily reported new cases are below 15,000 mark from the past few days. India celebrated the milestone of administering 1 billion coronavirus vaccine doses today. The Indian government released a video song on the occasion. The vaccination drive commenced on January 16th this year and more than 75 lakh doses are administered in the country on a daily basis. 944 million adults received the first dose of coronavirus vaccination in India and close to 31 percent of the Indian adults received both the doses of vaccination. The Indian government announced that the entire adult population by the end of 2021.

The vaccination for the kids too will be available in the market very soon. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India scripted history with the vaccination drive in the country. "India scripts history. We are witnessing the triumph of Indian science, enterprise and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians. Congrats India on crossing 100 crore vaccinations. Gratitude to our doctors, nurses and all those who worked to achieve this feat. #VaccineCentury" posted Narendra Modi on his official twitter page. On the occasion, Narendra Modi visited a government hospital in New Delhi today. The Health Ministry announced musical programs across the country. The World Health Organization (WHO) congratulated India for its achievement.
