21,257 New Coronavirus Cases Reported In India:- 21,257 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in India and the tally remained lower than 30,000 from the past ten days which is a good sign. The active cases too are coming down and the vaccination drive is happening at a faster note. The total number of cases in the country reported for coronavirus in India reached 3,39,15,569 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. There are 2,40,221 active cases of coronavirus in India for now. With 271 new deaths reported in India, the total death tally reached 4,50,127. As per the Union Health Ministry, the total number of recoveries in India climbed to 3,32,25,221. The recovery rate in India is 97.96 percent which is the highest since March this year.

Kerala reported 12,288 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total number of 93.17 crore people got vaccinated till date. Around 71 percent of the adult population in India are vaccinated with at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine. 27 percent of the adults in the country received both the doses of vaccine as per the reports by October 7th. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested for coronavirus on October 7th are said to be 13,85,706 and the total samples tested for coronavirus in total are said to be 58,00,43,190.
