KCR To Add Dalit Bandhu In Telangana Budget:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been on Dalit Bandhu and announced the scheme to benefit the 13 lakh Dalit families in the state. Despite receiving criticism from the opposition parties, KCR is strict on his stand and he announced that the government of Telangana will stand as a helping hand for other backward castes. He said that he would implement several similar schemes in the coming future. KCR conducted a series of meetings with the officials about Dalit Bandhu in the recent weeks. KCR decided to add the Dalit Bandhu scheme for the Telangana budget and allocate funds on a yearly basis to cover all the Dalit families. KCR announced sending Rs 10 lakhs to each Dalit family through the scheme.

On Monday, KCR met the officials in Pragathi Bhavan and discussed of extending the scheme to four more mandals in the five Assembly constituencies on a pilot basis. The pilot program was launched in Huzurabad constituency. The new mandals are identified and the funds will be released in the next three weeks as per the update. The new mandals identified are Chintakani from Madhira constituency, Charakonda mandal from Achampet, Tirmalgiri mandal in Tungaturthy constituency and some other mandals in the constituencies of Kalwakurthy, Jukkal. All the ministers, ZP Chairpersons, MLAs, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar along with SC Welfare Minister Koppula Eswar attended the meeting with KCR.
