Dalit Bandhu is now operational from Vasalamarri village though KCR had plans to commence it from the Huzurabad constituency. A massive public meeting is planned to start Dalit Bandhu from August 16th but the plans are changed. The amount of Rs 7.6 crores will be disposed off by Bhongir Collector by today morning. All the 76 dailt families will receive the amount by today itself. KCR asked the dalits to discuss with their families about how to use the disbursed amount through Dalit Bandhu. They have to inform the same to the Collector before they claim the benefit. KCR also announced that the government of Telangana will not force the dalits to pursue any particular activity. KCR cautioned the dalits to take their own time but make a wise move with the financial assistance.
