38,792 New Covid Cases reported in India:- A total number of 38,792 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total number of cases reached 3,09,46,074. 41,000 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the total number of recoveries reached 3,01,04,720. 624 new deaths are reported in the last 24 hours and the total death tally in India now stands at 4,11,408. There are 4,29,946 active cases of coronavirus in the country for now as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of vaccine doses administered in the country are said to be 38,76,97,935 and the doses given yesterday for the people are said to be 37,14,441.

Serum Institute of India (SII) and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced that they will produce the Sputnik V vaccine in the country from September. They are keen to produce 300 million doses per year in India. A recent study told that the single dose of Sputnik V vaccine triggered a strong antibody response. The vaccination drive in New Delhi slowed down and several vaccination centers are closed because of the non-availability of vaccines. Madhya Pradesh government announced that the classes for 11 and 12 will open from July 25th with 50 percent occupancy. Kerala reported 14,539 cases of coronavirus in the state in the past 24 hours along with 124 deaths. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the samples tested for coronavirus on July 13th are 19,15,501 and the total samples tested in the country reached to 43,59,73,639.
