Kishan Reddy bags Cabinet Rank:- Senior leader G Kishan Reddy's hard work is paid off finally. He has been a loyal leader for BJP from the past few years and he stood with the party during the tough times. He was the only MLA for BJP in Telangana for years. He is now promoted to a Cabinet rank during the cabinet expansion that took place last evening. He is inducted into Narendra Modi's cabinet and he took oath as Minister of Culture & Tourism and Minister of Development of the North Eastern Region. The senior leader is a sitting MP from Secunderabad and was elected as MLA thrice in the past. Kishan Reddy thanked Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for the opportunity and he promised to deliver good work.
"With the blessings of the People of India and the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, was sworn in as a Cabinet Minister in the Government Of India" posted Kishan Reddy on his official page. Kishan Reddy joined BJP in the year 1980 and he worked as the party President for united Andhra Pradesh. He also campaigned for the formation of Telangana from BJP. Kishan Reddy was born in 1960 in a middle-class family from Ranga Reddy district. Kishan Reddy conducted 333 meetings for 25 days through Telangana Poru Yatra before the bifurcation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.

I shall actively contribute to the development of Telangana in a manner that the aspirations, vision and dreams of our martyrs are realized" told Kishan Reddy in his official statement.
