India is the third country to cross 4 lakh coronavirus deaths:- After 853 new deaths are reported in the last 24 hours, India became the third country of the globe to have a death toll more than 4 lakh mark. USA and Brazil surpassed 4 lakh death mark earlier and India joined the list. The total death toll in India now stands at 4,00,312. USA is leading the list with 6.05 lakh deaths and Brazil stands second with 5.2 lakh deaths. India reported 46,617 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The number of recoveries in India continued to be higher than the new number of cases reported. 59,384 new recoveries are reported in India in the last one day.

The total number of reported cases for coronavirus in India reached 3,04,58,251 and the total number of recoveries reached 2,95,48,302. There are 5,09,637 active cases for coronavirus and the total vaccination doses given in India till date are said to be 34,00,76,232. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested in India on June 1st are 18,80,026 and the samples tested in India in total are said to be 41,42,51,520. The recovery rate in the country crossed 97 percent mark. The Indian government announced that 12 crore vaccine doses will be allocated to the Indian states in the month of July.
